What we do at camp?

PAINT BALL AND BEACH TRIP! (day trip), HIGH ROPES! AWESOME FOOD! SPORTS! MORE SPORTS!! GAMES! PHYSICAL CHALLENGES! MIND GAMES! NIGHT GAMES! VERY LITTLE SINGING!!

The list goes on...

With every activity the camp leaders have a very clear focus and goal:

- Bring these boys closer to Jesus Christ through daily Mass, prayer times and talks on themes relevant to their ages.

- Bring out the best in their personalities as they work together on activities, encouraging each other, making new friends, developing human virtues such as perseverance, charity, teamwork and much more!

The camp leaders - both the adults and youth leaders - are committed to making sure each and every boy who comes to camp has the time of his life, that no one is left on the sidelines, being very aware of the different personalities and individual needs of each one under their care for the 5 days.

Hunua Falls Camp is just perfect for boys with a large property area but which is well contained for safety and supervision. It features a massive kitchen as food is massive for boys. A huge selection of sports gear is available as well as easy access to the local falls swimming area complete with swing.

One of the best features of the campsite is a large chapel which the boys will go to for daily Mass as well as adoration and night prayers.

No campsite is complete without a campfire and this place has a purpose built spot which the boys will be toasting marshmallows while listening to the youth leaders giving their testimonies - a late night but one of the highlights for many. The paintball probably features high on that list too!
