Summit Camps!
What better way to spend a few days of summer than having heaps of fun, while learning about your Catholic faith and making lots of new friends. That's what Summit Camps are all about!!

From now on, the Summit Camps will run every two years. There will therefore be no camp in January 2016. The next Summit Camps for boys and girls will run in January 2017. Go to our Contact page to get in touch and receive updates.

What are Summit Camps?

Summit Camps have been running in the Auckland diocese for a number of years and provide a unique opportunity for our young people.

  • Summit Camps are split into two separate camps - one for boys and one for girls. The two camps are both in the Hunua Ranges region, about 40 minutes south of Auckland City.

  • The camps have a focus on giving young Catholics an opportunity to grow in their faith while at the same time having loads of fun.

  • The camps are for school years 7-10 (approx ages 11-14)

  • Details will follow soon regarding a planned MISSION YOUTH TRACK for those in their senior school years.

  • Camps are run by committed Catholic parents with assistance from experienced youth leaders from parishes in the Auckland diocese. The spiritual side of camps are led by a priest of the Legionaries of Christ religious order for the boys camp and consecrated Regnum Christ women for the girls camp.
